The Mid Devon Business Association was formed in 1983 from an earlier business club and has been providing business support and networking to members in a social setting since that date. Its membership has made a strong contribution to the local economy for many years.
You will find among us a wide cross-section of skills that you can call on to help your enterprise grow. Many in the Association are of course members of other newer networking groups that have grown up since in the South West. You will find the possibilities of outward referral to prospective clients are easier and wider than ever before.
The chief benefit in comparison with other area networking groups is our subscription structure, which provides excellent value for money. The structure distinguishes corporate businesses from solus traders by differentiated subscription and joining fees.
Membership Benefits
- A once-off joining fee applies to corporate members (£100 only plus VAT) and to solus traders (£50 only plus VAT) to cover initial administration. We accept husband and wife teams as solus.
- Free access and entry on the MDBA website
- Free regular members' newsletters delivered by email or post
- Free printed membership directory booklet. The 2010 edition is being compiled and it is hoped that we can continue this bi-annually. The first directory was published in 2006.
- Free statistical updates on MDBA collective turnover and growth. We will pass on economic news from the Mid Devon District Council.
- Free database referrals for the benefit of business broking.
