Annual Spring Conference

Each year an all-day conference is hosted on a topical theme, with debate led by keynote speakers in their field of expertise.  The primary purpose of course is to bring members and visitors together for discussion and networking.  Time is set aside for delegates to talk to exhibitors between speeches and over the lunch break. 

It is also a valuable day for Mid Devon councillors and executives to meet and get to know the thriving enterprises in their midst and to engage in dialogue on all aspects of infrastructure in the area.

Past themes have examined business in the community, energy issues as well as the impact of EU and UK legislation on the small business sector.  We were unable to run this prestigious event last year, but would very much like to revive it in some form during 2010 if enough volunteers and sponsors can be found to lend a hand.

Ideas for a possible theme would be very welcome.
